Last Days in Saudi
I have added pictures of our last brunch at the Al Faisaliah tower. It was pretty expensive, but great food, and we tried to go once or twice a month. There is no segregated seating, and everyone is treated "equal", so it was nice to take off my hijab and feel normal.
We tried to get pictures of all the people we encountered on a daily basis. You can see the staff at our apartment building, the Pakistani men who wash cars in the parking lot at Tamimi Market (Safeway), as well as the little girl who sells things outside of Safeway with her mother. Tavis loved to buy her treats, and we went to the store several times a week, so they were "friends" by the time we left. Can you see her mom in the pictures? The guys that Nate work with had a dinner for us as a goodbye, and you can see us in a picture with two of the men - Rassoul and Amal. They were also at Tav's birthday and are really great people.
