Thanksgiving and Stuff
We were lucky enough to have Bo for Thanksgiving this year, and we traveled North to Elko to spend the weekend with family. Although Tavis fell asleep after dinner, Bo was able to spend some quality time with his new cousin, Corbin. Tavis and Bo were also able to spend some time in the snow! We always hate having to say good bye to Bo, but we put our smiles on at the airport knowing we would be seeing him again soon.

Carving Pumpkins and Halloween
Tavis was able to carve pumpkins for the first time Grandpa Tom and Uncle T. While Tavis didn't do much of the carving himself, he took after him mom in making sure everyone did everything his way. When it came time to trick-or-treat, Tavis was a dragon, and made sure everyone knew he was going to be a GREEN dragon. He looked adorable, of course, and enjoyed seeing Corbin in his "puppy" costume.
A Surprise Visit!
Meeting Corbin!
Tavis' newest cousin, Corbin Quincy Palmer, was born on October 13 (and is the reasont this blog has been so neglected!!). We have waited so long for his arrival, and were overjoyed at meeting him for the first time. They would not allow Tavis in the maternity ward at the hospital, so he had to wait until baby and the new momma were at home, but as you can see, he didn't care, just as long as he was able to see him! Corbin is perfect, Heather is doing well, and we are so blessed with this growing family of ours!
Meeting Superman!
Nate's parents came to visit us from Nebraska, and while they were here we took them down to Fremont Street. It is the old downtown Vegas, and just like on the Strip, there are a bunch of street performers. Many of them are dressed up in costumes, and for a small fee will allow you take a picture with them. Tavis was extremely excited to see Spiderman, but was not so sure about being in a picture with him.

Trip to the beach in Malibu
Nate had to attend a conference for work in Ontario, California, and we decided to stay when it was over and hit the beach in Malibu. We knew it wouldn't be Vegas hot, but were surprised at how cool it really was there. It was like being at Tahoe in April! Tavis really enjoyed being next to the water and standing in the tide as it came in.
